2020 ISNS Summer Program Operations Director
This was by far and wide one of the biggest challenges that I have faced professionally. My role here was to place all the internal staff in corresponding positions based on preference, experience, and suitability. Then I was to find, interview, and hire the remaining external staff needed for the program. Once all the staff were accounted for, I then was in charge of labor contract signings and Program Orientation. Alongside this, I was to create different schedules for the entire K-G8 classes that would allow enough time for the content to be covered, teachers and staff to rotate classrooms, (as to avoid unnecessary contact), and students to eat lunches in the cafeteria with the proper distance to avoid contact.
With some creative thinking in scheduling and cooperation from all the staff involved, we were able to successfully bring together a memorable Summer Program for all the students at ISNS that missed out on the end of the school year due to the Pandemic. Take a peak at some of the articles written by the school as each week went on throughout the Program.
