About me
Since 2017, I have lived in Asia helping youth grow in their physical development, first as a coach and now as a teacher. I am currently the Deputy Head of Physical Education at a Bilingual School in China where I teach grades 3 & 4 and founded the Girls basketball Program. My goal in education is to get each and every kid moving, enjoy sports and exercise, and learn how to build a healthier life for the future.

What I do…
My main focus is to build an environment that nourishes growth for an active lifestyle. Whether that is competing in sports, having fun outside playing games with friends, or exercising to stay in shape, my goal is to help students find a passion for being physically active. I aim to do this mostly through my teaching with my coaching being an accessory to build even further development for those interested.
School Involvement
Working alongside the school to be involved with all aspects of education. From running a healthy living week, to sports days, to even hosting graduation ceremonies. Being involved with the students builds relationships while enhancing the school environment
Coaching & Program Building
One of my biggest strengths, I’ve had over 10 years of experience coaching basketball and have recently founded and built our currents girls basketball program. This program was built from nothing into over 40 students grades 4 – 12. Both Middle School and High School compete in Division 1 of the International Schools Athletic Conference (ISAC)

Being able to provide extra participation from students has been one of the best ways to get them active and engaged.
