Our biggest event of the entire year for our PE Department. It is always a blast to let the children spend the entire day playing games and having fun on a school day. In our sports day, students get the chance to play in games amongst each other to earn points for their class. At the end of the day, the classes with the most points wins the Sports Day Trophy for their grade and get to keep it in their classroom for the rest of the year. This events takes an incredible amount of cooperation from the entire school but is worth it to see the students as they play throughout the day. Small details like students getting to design their flags together, students getting the opportunity to design and create the sports day T-shirt, to learning about cooperation as a class go a long way into their development.
